Delete your Account at Tithonos

Before you delete your account you should know the following information.

1. Ownership and Control The account belongs to you. You may request deletion at any time, provided no active restrictions apply.

2. Requirements for Account Deletion An account can be deleted if:

  • There are no outstanding payments
  • There are no active processes or ongoing actions
  • There are no ongoing legal disputes or investigations
  • There is no active subscription or premium plan
  • You have access to your account or can verify your identity

3. Identity Verification and Security Procedure Before deletion, it must be clearly confirmed that you are the rightful account owner. The process includes:

  • Account login confirmation
  • Email verification
  • A physical letter sent to your registered address containing a one-time security code
  • Entry of this code to finalize the deletion

Without successful verification, the deletion process will not proceed.

5. Digital Content

  • Public content is removed or anonymized
  • Private content is permanently deleted
  • Content shared with others remains accessible to authorized persons, if defined by you
  • Content marked as legacy remains according to your settings

6. Physical Engravings (Tithonos-specific)

  • All engravings are permanently stored by Tithonos and are not destroyed
  • Engravings remain preserved regardless of account deletion
  • After deletion, only the designated legacy person can access these engravings
  • If no legacy person is defined, access remains restricted

7. Legacy Person and Coins

  • The designated legacy person is informed about the account deletion
  • The legacy person gains access to the assigned coins
  • The direct link between the deleted account and the coins is removed
  • Coins remain accessible but without any reference to the original profile

8. Data Retention (Legal Requirements)

  • Certain data may be retained if required by law for example invoices or transaction records
  • This data is used strictly for legal and compliance purposes

9. Final Deletion

  • After the waiting period, all personal data is permanently deleted
  • Account access is no longer possible
  • Recovery of the account is not possible

10. Restrictions Account deletion is not permitted if:

  • There is suspicion of misuse
  • The account is restricted due to policy violations
  • An investigation or legal process is ongoing
